Frequently Asked Questions

  • What types of remodeling services do you offer?

At Elevate Builders, we specialize in basement finishing, kitchen remodels, and bathroom remodels. Exterior finishes and stand alone units, like sheds, are gaining popularity with our clients. Our experienced team is dedicated to delivering high-quality results tailored to your needs.

  • How long does a typical remodeling project take?

The duration of a remodeling project varies based on its scope. Generally, kitchen and bathroom remodels can take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months, while basement finishes may take longer depending on the complexity. During your makeover the things that add time to the project are typically cabinet and flooring choices.

  • What is the estimated cost of remodeling?

Costs can vary significantly based on the size of the project and the materials used. We provide detailed estimates after assessing your specific requirements to ensure transparency. The best thing to do is sit with us and discuss your visiion so we can give you some insight on the cost range.

  • Do you offer financing options?

Yes, we understand that remodeling can be a significant investment. We offer various financing options to help make your dream project more affordable.

  • Is LVP Waterproof?

Technically, Yes, LVP is water proof. When flooring companies make that claim they are letting the customer make assumptions that just are not true.

If you soak a plank of LVP in water it will not soak it up. LVP is made from petroleum products and won't absorb the water.

What you need to know is when you have water damage the water will push its way through the seams of the LVP and get underneath.

Once that happens the only way to get the underneath dried, to prevent mold, is to take it out.

  • How much does it cost to finish my basement?

With the vast layouts and uses for unfinished basements this is a question that is hard to answer without a walk through with our talented team.

The main variables that affect the basement finishing prices is layout and intended use. Wanting to use the basement as an ADU ads a level of complexity that increases the cost but gets a return on investrment when rented out.

The other factors that impact the cost of your basement finish is quality of finishes.

Currently our research shows you can count on paying between $35 to $85 per sq foot.

For Elevate Builders we come in at about $50 per sq ft for your basement finish. We start with good middle grade quality finishes which allows you to move things aruond to lower some costs or get higher quality in some areas.
